Mint Chocolate Mud Pie: Oreo crust, mint chocolate chip ice cream, homemade hot fudge sauce and whip cream.
Mint chocolate mud pie was my birthday cake of choice for at least the first 18 years of my life. There is nothing better than the combination of flavors and textures that come with every bite. I love sugar cookies! I love to decorate and bake them and let my kids get creative. Most times, however I do not have all day to mixup, roll out and decorate our favorite sugar cookies. I know you are probably thinking, “What in the world?” Let me give you the back story to this recipe. A few years ago my husband taught the high school seniors in Sunday school at church. Every time he taught he brought a different treat, churro cheesecake bars, s’more cookies, Nutella cinnamon rolls or slutty cheesecake bars. You can imagine the crowd that would gather on the week’s he would teach. He would take requests, but nothing was more raved about than these slutty cheesecake bars.
