Thirty Minute Breadsticks

Thirty Minute Breadsticks are the perfect bread glazed with garlic, butter and parmesan for any soup.

A Teaspoon of Home

I love a good breadstick, but sometimes the thought of the time involved to create them turns me away. This recipe is legit! It seriously takes 10 minutes to mix it up, then you roll it out, let it raise for 20 minutes and bake. You will love how quick they mix up and how fast they disappear. [Read more…]

Friday Faves: Anniversary Week

Friday Faves: Anniversary Week check out my memories from our wedding day, fun times feeding the missionaries as well as some of my favorite Pinterest finds this week.

A Teaspoon of HomeWe celebrated our anniversary this week, 4 years of marriage. It’s hard for me to believe it’s only been that long, I can’t remember my life without Jason and my kids! I never feel more beautiful, confident or myself than when I am with him. He literally completes me.

I remember our wedding day so well!  Jason drove me to the Salt Lake Temple and I remember holding his hand and thinking, this is it! I was so excited and knew that this was the beginning to my happily ever after.

The ceremony was beautiful and the room was full with some of our closest and dearest friends and family. It was truly the perfect day. We rushed to the Devereaux Mansion downtown to celebrate the beginning of our lives together.

This year we celebrated with cinnamon roll french toast for breakfast with the kids. I love including my children in the festivities because they are some the the sweetest things to come from our marriage. Then went out on the town with my lover boy to Settebellos for Napoletana Pizza and gelato. My mouth waters just thinking about it.

We fed the LDS missionaries this week. I absolutely love having them in my home and letting my children see the importance of service and sacrifice. It’s important to me that my children be familiar with the spirit and power that they bring into our home.  I especially loved being able to sit back and reflect the sweet memories I have from my own mission. It was such an incredible experience that I wish I was forced to do more often.

This week’s favorite pins:

Pinterest WINS

Pinterest Wins: this week’s menu has some tried an true Pinterest finds that were a major hit!

Have you ever tried a recipe from Pinterest only to make a major FAIL? I can’t tell you how many times that has happened to me! It is always fun to try new recipes but sometimes you have to make a few failures before you find a major WIN.

A Teaspoon of Home

This week I tried two new Pinterest recipes and both were major winners for my family. When we bit into it, I felt like I was eating five star restaurant quality food! Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken is a meal that will be repeated often at your dinner table.

Garlic Parmesan Roasted Broccoli changed the way I cook broccoli. I will only cook broccoli in the oven from now on! The flavor was fresh and everyone ate it and loved it! Major win for our healthy family.

As for the dessert, this is one of my seasonal favorites!  Pumpkin Crisp is filled with a cookie like crust, pumpkin filling and oatmeal crisp topping. It is great alone or served with whipped or ice cream. Definitely a dessert the entire family will enjoy.
