The best part of this apple crisp is that it is quick and easy! If you made my sweet bottled apple pie filling then you are ready to go! If not, peel, core and slice 6 large apples. Then toss them in 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Place the apples in the bottom of a pie tin or baking dish and then top with the crisp crumbles. Not only does it taste divine but the smell is one that is hard to recreate. This will be a recipe that you come back to again and again.

We made a tradition out of bottling the apples and now it is a treat whenever we pull out the sweet bottled apple pie filling for a crisp or a pie. If you like apples, give this Applesauce Spice Cake a try!
