Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. When melted and bubbly, add steak. Stir constantly while it is cooking.
  2. When the meat is about halfway cooked, add onions and green peppers. Season with salt, pepper and hot sauce. Continue stirring until meat is cooked through and the onion and peppers are tender.
  3. Spoon the meat filling into sliced rolls and add a slice of provolone cheese. If desired, place the open-faced sandwiches onto a baking sheet and place under the broiler in your oven. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
  4. Serve immediately.

The best part about these sandwiches is that they are super easy to make! You can make them in 15 minutes flat. Just cook the meat, sauté the green peppers and onions and then broil the sandwiches with provolone cheese. One quick tip is to get very thinly sliced steak meat from the deli. I have been in a bind before and just sliced roast beef lunch meat. The thicker the slice the better but really anything goes.

Melt in your mouth delicious!

We love this recipe because everyone eats it! If we have extra meat, my husband is the first to pack them in his lunches. We love to eat them with homemade oven fries. If you are looking for a dinner to make in a flash but get quality taste than this is the meal for you!
