This week went by like a flash! I was fortunate to spend some time at dinner with some of my oldest and dearest friends. We try to make an effort to see each other once a month, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. We love reminiscing on the past and talking about how crazy our lives are with lots of little children to fill our time. They have been my steady supporters and friends for decades and I’m so grateful for their association.
Keeping resolutions this year has been difficult. One of my resolutions this year has been to stay connected with the people that matter most in my life. I set up another gathering with some of the girls closest to my age from my ward growing up. It’s amazing how life can take you in so many different directions with little time to catch up. I can’t wait to reconnect.

Isn’t is your dream as the preparer of any meal for everyone to not only enjoy it, but compliment how great it tastes? I may be silly but I want to know when you enjoy it. My son is the sweetest when he eats anything, even a peanut butter sandwich, he always says, “Oh, mom this is so yummy!” Totally makes my day and keeps me going.
I know you are probably thinking, “What in the world?” Let me give you the back story to this recipe. A few years ago my husband taught the high school seniors in Sunday school at church. Every time he taught he brought a different treat, churro cheesecake bars, s’more cookies, Nutella cinnamon rolls or slutty cheesecake bars. You can imagine the crowd that would gather on the week’s he would teach. He would take requests, but nothing was more raved about than these slutty cheesecake bars.
