Our family loves to make desserts and share them! Sometimes, actually most times the desserts don’t ever leave the pan they are eaten so quickly. This skillet brownie sundae is one of our favorite desserts!

We usually make pazookies, “pie cookies,” toss some cookie dough in a pan then bake it until it is just past gooey. Then we pop a few scoops of ice cream and the entire family grabs a spoon and digs in! It is so delicious!

So it didn’t take long for us to try out a batch of brownies. With a skillet brownie sundae everyone gets the perfect bite! Rich fudge brownie, ice cream and sprinkles. If you’re looking to make it extra chocolatey, try my favorite hot fudge sauce. Seriously it is the best dessert to share with family and friends.

If you are in a rush, use a brownie mix. Cook as directed on the box and just watch the time so it doesn’t over bake. Same delicious treat just the simplified version.

When I was in high school my mom would often have cookies when we got home from school. She found that we’d open up about our day when we were sharing a treat together. So if you’re looking for a fun or important conversation to happen, this sundae is your trick!

Give it a try! You’ll be surprised how close you can become over a little treat.
