Wonderful Wintertime Menu

Wonderful Wintertime Menu: Slow cooker Park City Stew, quick wheat bread and Reese’s cheesecake brownies.

I love seasonal meals! There is nothing I love more than a wonderful wintertime menu. This meal will be one that you return to over and over. It is simple to make and delicious to eat.

It was a constant meal during winter months in my home growing up. I think my mom was looking for anything that would fill up four growing boys. This was always a favorite among the boys and I still smile every time I smell it baking. Park City stew is a meal that everyone will love and request.

As for the the bread, I am always a little nervous to try bread recipes, especially those without yeast. Who knew vinegar could have the same effect. This recipe literally takes five minutes to mix up and then you plop it in the oven. The dough is a little different because it is moist like banana bread, but comes out with a rich, dense bread. It has changed my life and my children request the brown bread.

Now for dessert, Reese’s cheesecake brownies. I’ll wait while you take that all in. These are simply too good to eat! Think of a giant Reese’s and you won’t even come close! It is bursting with flavor and will leave you needing a glass full of milk balance all that sweet.

So if you’re looking for something to change up your winter blues, this is the meal for you!

I made your Park City stew, and quick wheat bread this week…both winners!!! The quick bread is going to be a game changer, since I have no skills or patience for/with yeast-bread. Thanks for the great menu ideas!!!
