Tollhouse Pie by A Teaspoon of Home

Traditionally Thanksgiving pies come in pumpkin, fruit or cream. This pie will take you out of your comfort zone and into a new area of pleasure. Tollhouse pie is one of our family favorites. It mixes the sweetness of a chocolate chip cookie and places it in a pie crust.

Not only is this simple to make, but will be the first to disappear. I love making tollhouse pies because I can make them ahead and reheat them when we are ready to serve.  Tollhouse pie can be made for any occasion.

This time I used a homemade crust, but pre-made ones work just as well and are a timesaver.

Comments

  1. This recipe can’t be right, calling for 1 cup of butter. My pie didn’t turn out at all – way too much butter.
