Spring Menus

Spring Menus: honey mustard chicken bacon avocado salad, cheesy garlic breadsticks and triple chocolate mint swig cookies.

Spring always means new things into my life! Flowers in the yard, blossoms on the trees and salads in the fridge. There is nothing better than finding a new combination of flavors and textures to make a daily treat. Once spring comes around a salad a day keeps my body at bay.

There is no better flavor than honey mustard! I love putting it on sandwiches, chicken and salads. This recipe is the best because the chicken marinades in it and the dressing is full of it! It is a salad that everyone will love! My husband is always skeptical about mustard because his parents literally put it on everything. When he tried this salad, he couldn’t get enough dressing on it. I am sure it will be a much requested salad in our home from here on out.
I love making breadsticks, but I hate spending hours waiting for the dough to rise. These cheesy garlic breadsticks literally take 30 minutes from start to finish. They are delicious and everyone will be wanting more!
I am always a sucker for mint chocolate and these are no exception! The cookie is chocolate base with chocolate chips. Then melt Andes mints on top of that and frost with a rich chocolate frosting and then sprinkle with more mints. Seriously a flavor that will melt in your mouth and leave you needing more than one.

We always have to make these for a gathering, otherwise we end up eating them all. So today after making them, I bundled them up and we delivered them to some of our friends and neighbors. They are a perfect treat for any occasion.
