I love surprising people with dishes that they probably wouldn’t try or enjoy. Then showing them how good they really can be. My favorite is salmon. People say they hate fish but when you try my easy marinated salmon, you’ll take back everything you ever said. Same thing with these brussels sprouts.

My dad loves brussels sprouts, so they were often found on our dinner table. They were usually over cooked or made like jambalaya, tossing in random spices and foods, that’s usually how my dad cooks. They were not good and we always made excuses not to eat them.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Combine brussels sprouts and olive oil in a large zip-lock bag and shake to coat. Add the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the bag and shake to coat.
  3. Spread an even layer on the baking sheet and bake for 15-17 minutes until the cheese is melted and the brussels sprouts are lightly browned.
