Friday Faves: Throwback Thanksgiving Memories

Throwback Thanksgiving Memories: a fire, a blowup boyfriend and a whole lot of pie.

It being Thanksgiving and such this week I thought I’d throw out my favorite Thanksgiving memory. It all began at my 30th birthday when my brothers picked me up to take me to lunch. Buckled up in the back of their car was a blowup doll. He was Hispanic, covered in hair and they were nice enough to put clothes on him. Thirty could have been a big bust being single and boyfriendless, but they were able to help me celebrate it with a smile. We named him Miguel and he became an instant favorite friend to all of my nieces and nephews. [Read more…]
